Pet Insurance

SDPEBA offers two Pet Insurance options through MetLife and Nationwide. Both plans are claims based, meaning you go to the vet, get a receipt, and then submit that to your provider. After it is approved, you will receive a reimbursement in the form of a check or direct deposit.

The MetLife plan is more customizable and offers greater “wellness” coverage. Whereas the Nationwide plan covers more animals (such as birds). We highly recommend you get a quote from both plans to make the best choice for you!
